| 2100 Tracy Road | In 2006, Jeff Barton graduated from the Leadership Toledo program and knew he was being called to do something significant and enduring for his community.  He decided to focus his efforts on building a special facility that would provide opportunities for children and adults with disabilities to play Miracle League baseball, regardless of their abilities. His story, and the story of the players and families who benefit from the Miracle League of Northwest Ohio, is so heart-warming and inspiring - it's no wonder why we save it for the grand finale of our tour featuring community connections.

If you ever wonder what drives Jeff and his volunteers, the Miracle League mission statement says it best, "We cannot change or cure the medical issues life has dealt people with disabilities. What we can do is provide them with an opportunity to experience the joy and benefits that come from playing our national pastime-baseball."  CLICK HERE to learn more...
